Qualifications and skills
7+ years of experience in senior financial roles, with at least 3 years as CFO or Head of Finance in digital industries (iGaming, affiliate networks, ad tech, fintech, etc.)
Deep understanding of international financial operations: payment systems, tax structures, FX, and multicurrency budgeting
Experience managing financials for high-volume performance marketing or affiliate businesses
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, P&L management, cash flow planning, and financial modeling
Familiarity with payment service providers, crypto settlements, and high-risk industry banking solutions
Proficiency with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI)
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability; comfortable in both scale-up and high-growth environments
Understanding of global compliance, reporting, and risk management (EU, CIS, LatAm)
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
English level B2 or higher; Russian or other additional slavic languages are a plus
Key responsibilities
Lead and oversee all financial operations: accounting, planning, reporting, payments, treasury
Build and manage financial models, budgets, forecasts, and KPI dashboards
Control cash flow, optimize cost structure, and ensure sustainable unit economics
Set up and maintain efficient payment infrastructures (incl. crypto and multicurrency options)
Develop and maintain relationships with banks, PSPs, accountants, and financial partners
Ensure full compliance with local and international financial regulations and audit requirements
Partner with executive leadership on strategy, growth planning, and investment decisions
Design and oversee performance-based compensation models across teams
Identify and mitigate financial risks, including fraud prevention and operational inefficiencies
Prepare reports for stakeholders and lead communication with investors if applicable
